Kelly Love Johnson is a freelance journalist, editor, author, and award-winning writer with more than 10 years experience in digital, newspaper and magazine publishing and management. She has a TMI degree in personal narrative, wildly shifting and endless opinions, a tendency to over-write and then over-edit, a habit of silently correcting other people's grammar and, while she thinks the word "awesome" is egregiously overused, secretly believes she is awesome.
Her articles and essays have appeared in national and regional magazines and her book, Skirt! Rules for the Workplace: An Irreverent Guide to Advancing Your Career, was published by Globe Pequot Press in 2008. Available in print and for Kindle.
