I'll be presenting the following workshop for October's ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) meeting, Friday, Oct. 2, 11:30-1:30 at Goodwill Community Center on Eagle Drive in North Charleston:
“Playing Nice: Alpha and Beta Archetypes at Work”
No matter what your personality type—confrontational, non-confrontational, outspoken, or soft-spoken—learn how to modify your communication style to adapt to almost any workplace environment. Find out which you are, how to tone it down if you’re an Alpha, speak up if you’re a Beta, and how to blend both types into the person who gets the promotion.
Meetings are free for Midland’s ASTD members. Feel free to invite non-members or potential members. Have them take advantage of the “free pass to one meeting” by using the ticket found on the web site (http://www.astdmidlands.org/). Cost is $15 for non-members that have already used the guest pass.
To RSVP or for more info, contact Laura at LErickson@cydc.org.
